Lost in Translation
So, as I've wrote about it before, I rarely get a cold nowadays, and I believe it's a benefit from eating fruits & Caspian sea yogurt every morning.
A Japanese scholar, Prof. Yamori, brought back some strain of yogurt from a village of former Soviet Union to Japan while studying on longevity.
He made the yogurt as he was told by the local people. He gave this yogurt to his friends. And, somehow it spread throughout Japan several years ago. My mum got it from her friend, and I've got it from my mum. If you are interested about this yogurt, go to http://search.japantimes.co.jp/member/member.html?nn20030107b3.htm
I wasn't big fan of yogurt before, but this yogurt is not sour, easy to make at home, and it is supposed to be very good for your health!
I'm quite health conscious. So, I started to eat this yogurt.
And to keep it alive, I make fresh yogurt from the previous one almost every morning (Even though if it dies, now you can get the dried culture from a store! in Japan, that is...)To make it is easy. I take 2 spoonfuls of yogurt from the centre into a jar, stir well with fresh milk, leave it in room temperature for a day. Yogurt will be ready by the evening, then refigerate to keep for longer. Then start again the next day!
If you are my friend in London, I can give it to you
Let's start health living.
